Hysteria ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use the Hysteria avatar customization service.

2. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Discord OAuth, we receive and store:

• Discord user ID — used as your unique identifier
• Discord username — displayed in your account
• Discord avatar hash — used to display your profile image
• Email address — if provided by Discord, used for account communication

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your session
• Manage your subscription status and billing via Stripe
• Communicate account-related information (e.g. subscription changes)
• Operate and improve the Service
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services:

• Discord OAuth — used for authentication. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — used for payment processing and subscription management. Stripe handles all payment data directly. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Roblox— we fetch public avatar data from Roblox's public APIs. Hysteria is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains stored to allow reactivation. You may request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@hysteria.rip. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage and secure HTTPS connections. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

7. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. The only third parties we share data with are those necessary to operate the Service (Discord, Stripe) as described above.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@hysteria.rip.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Policy.
